# Payment requests (text and email)

Ask a customer to pay an amount; they get a link by email and/or text.

- Sends on every channel you have details for, unless `channels` is given. Texting requires `sms_consent: true`.
- `customer` uses a saved customer's contact details; `send: false` only creates it.
- `expires_in_days` (default 30); `reminders: {offsets_days: [2, 5]}` days after sending.
- `POST /:id/send` resends, `POST /:id/cancel` stops the link. `GET /api/v1/payment_requests`, `GET /:id`.

Events: `payment_request.created`, `.sent`, `.paid`, `.canceled`, `.expired`.
